Room storage help please?

Ok, I’m a teenager, and I got my mom got me a storage bed (http://www.pbteen.com/products/stuff-your-stuff-headboard-and-store-it-bed/?pkey=cgirls-beds-headboards) awhile ago to get me more organized. The thing is, I have no clue what to put in the shelves. I have the twin sized one, and I have put books in it but they don’t really fit very well in it. Its too deep. Any ideas for things that will fit? please help.

If these shelves are deep, a good idea might be to find some baskets that are rectangular and fit the shelves lengthwise so they will slide in and out of the shelves. Then you can fill them with books, shoes, clothes, etc. Baskets are pretty – you can even paint them colors in your comforter, they will look nice all the time and be very functional for you, too.
