what are some home entertainment alternatives at this time of economic crisis?
watching DVD/TV could be the most common answer apart from this what other means of entertainment you could do at home at this time of economic crisis?
Board games like Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, Labyrinth, Game of Life, Scene it are good alternatives to going to movies or watching DVD/TV.
Invite friends for a “pot luck.” (Every one who goes to this party
brings something to eat for the whole group.) Then just talk, talk, talk.
Poker games with friends, but play not with money. It is illegal in some places.
We have a billiard table and friends drop by once in a while
to play with my husband.
For children, do some handicrafts with paper, crayons, paste and scissors. Play soccer, basketball, eis hockey, etc. from Lego or Tip Kick, etc. Give small awards (like chocolates,small toys to the winners). Play card games like
Uno, Monkey-monkey, etc.
