Is there any harmfull effects?

my 2 yr old daughter got a hold of some mouse de-con on saturday as we were cleaning out a storage barn. i knew she was playing with her toys and i turned to look to see what she was doing and she was playing in the de-con so i wasnt sure if she got any or not so i took her to the er and they gave her charcoal through a nose tube and about 10 mins later she threw up and they told me she would have a stool. but she hasnt had a stool yet so i’m wondering if there may be a problem it has been 2 days she’s been peeing ok and eveything just no bm and she has said her back hurts and usually she tells the truth cause i asked her if she ate the poison and she told me yes and she really did so i dunno what to do she has a dr appointment tomorrow. please only serious answers! thanks

You might try going to your local pharmacy/ walmart/ walgreens/ whatever & see if they have a pediatric laxative. If her back hurts, it probably means she’s constipated. Activated charcoal absorbs poisons (and everything else), so it may have just dried her up to the point where she needs a stool softener. Try that today, and remember to bring it up when you go to her doc tomorrow. She’ll be fine.
