Toddler Vomit + Furniture?

Parents, I need some help!! My son has the stomach flu (thanks to his Aunt and Uncle), and has projectile vomited twice so far. First time was in bed (no biggie, easy to clean up), but he just vomited again A L L over our couch. Milk. GAG.

My go to trick for vomit works every time my daughter pukes.

-Wipe all chunks away
-Pour liquid laundry detergent on the stain. Let sit for 5 minutes
-Pour a bit of water on it and scrub the detergent in.
-Pour a 50/50 mixture of water and vinegar and scrub to get the stain out.
