I need advice on how to be confident!!!!?

Im looking for an f&b job but its like….its so hard to find one!!! I sent out a lot of cv and interviews but MAN im not having it easy!!!! One thing though during interviews i get nervous and the way i answer is like a question and answer kind of conversation! And also, when the interviewer asks me if i have any questions for her or him, i always say ‘no’…
I dun know what to ask!!!

I am the shyest person, seriously. But I am very good at interviews, infact I just got a job yesterday. Basically I treat interviews as pretending to be an actress. In other words, I fake it. When I walk through the door I am a jibbering wreck, shaking all over and stuttering words. So I plan all my answers in advance and simply repeat them, I bet the interviewer thinks I am reading it off the wall behind her lol. I start with a hand shake and a ‘very nice to meet you sir/madame’ even though I have trouble saying hi to people in the street. Remember you’re acting as a confident person! Then I comment on the companys place for example ‘it’s lovely and tidy and clean, I always love coming in here’ (even if it looks like a shithole). When they ask you to take a seat always says thankyou before you sit down. By this time you’ll have found your voice since you practiced with the previous sentences. All through the interview clutch your hands together and stare into the persons eyes. When they explain the usual details of the job don’t just sit and listen and nod, always say ‘yes’ or ‘ok’. Wait for the que questions, you should have rehearsed your answers at home. Then spin her/him the line. For example the main one I get is ‘why do you want to work here’. My answer is always (I work in retail) ‘I have an interest in the retail industry and has a long tradition of retailing excellence and is well known for is great value and service and this together makes me want to be part of the team’ I say that for every job and I have rehearsed and memorised answers for every question available. When they ask if I have any questions I have set answers for this too but sometimes they already answered what I was going to ask which is where I then would ask if they could go into a bit more detail about it instead. But some examples for you are 1) what kind of training will I be given 2) will there by any overtime available (and make it clear you’re available for it) 3) I’m looking to progress upwards within this career, will there be options for promotions in the future?

Remember that although you sound like a complete geeky tit, the other interviewees probably fumbled around and said erm 100 times followed by a lot of dono’s and maybe’s so you just aced the interview and congratulations on the job!
