ok can someone tell me about installing pedestal sinks?

its me again…still trying to redecorate my mobile home. I was thinking about getting a pedestal sink to replace the vanity i have, but what about the p trap or elbow thingy? I’m thinking it has to be removed since the pedestal sink has no room for an elbow. Please no jokes only good answers. I need tips please.

It all depends on the pedestal. Some bases are wider than others and the trap and feed lines are hidden inside the base, while others are so narrow that the trap and feeds lines are exposed. I installed one of the narrow base types in an apartment building I own and it took a magic trick to hide the trap. Let’s just say I’ll never buy another with a narrow base. Pay the extra amount and get one with a larger base.
