Memory Foam Mattress Topper Question?

I was just wondering how much of a difference there is in sleep comfort between a memory foam mattress topper that is 1.5″ versus one that is 4″. I found a 1.5″ twin memory foam mattress topper at walmart for about $50 and I also found a 4″ twin xl memory foam mattress topper at Walmart for about $75. So I am wondering if it is worth shelling out an extra $25 for an extra 2.5″ of memory foam or just going with the 1.5″ memory foam mattress topper?

Usually a 2 inch memory foam mattress topper would be suitable for most people. However, it is best that you try to lie on it to see how it feels. Some people do prefer to sleep on a thicker topper.
