See I work at a Chicken Fast Food place and I was pushing the bird cart (a big metal cart where we batter the chicken) back where it belongs and accidentally knocked over the tea containers. Louisiana is a right-to-work state and they can fire you for anything that is not discriminatory. They CANNOT make you pay for equipment the gets broken at work, that is against the law in all states. They can take you to court and try to sue you for the cost only if you do something maliciously. You would have been arrested by now if they had any real proof. He is just trying to scare you into paying to save his bottom line.
