Best way to clean vomit off of a foam mattress topper?

Long story short, someone missed the bucket next to them and puked on the mattress topper instead. Cleaned up for the most part, but there’s still a mark on the mattress topper. What is the best way to clean it? I don’t have any directions from when I got the topper. Thanks in advance!
It’s a 3 inch thick extra long twin topper. It won’t be fitting in a wash machine and it’s memory foam.

Best way? Put on gloves, put the foam cover in the bathtub and rinse first with only water. Try to only wet the area with the stain on it. Then use a mild detergent, rub in gently and rinse very well. Then, thoroughly clean out the entire bathtub.
