Things needed for a new apartment.?

I’m moving into my own apartment for the first time. I have some things given to me by my mom from when she moved into her house 6 mos ago, but I know I’m missing a lot.

Bed, drawer chest or dresser, waste baskets, dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans, cooking utensils, can opener, towels (both kitchen and bath) washcloths and lamps. These are essentials besides what you already have….anything else can be added as time and money permit.
