How to line dresser drawers with wallpaper?

Hi, I have brought Laura Ashley wallpaper to line my dresser drawers with. The papertern pat matches the curtians I have, so it should look quite nice. The question I have is; What should I use to stick the wallpaper to the drawers? Just ordinary glue? how much should I put on? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Rhianna x
Hi, thanks, I did consider wallpaper paste, but I thought it’s a little to messy and time consuming as it’s just for drawers?

The wallpaper is probably stiff enough NOT to need to be glued into place. My mom used giftwrap as drawer liners for years, and never glued it down.

I would be careful using pre-pasted wallpaper in the drawers, though. Most modern wallpaper is pre-pasted — you moisten it to activate the glue already on the back, and then smooth it on to the walls. (Look at the back, if its textured, gets sticky when you rub a wet finger over it, or has a taste, it’s glued). The reason to be cautious, is that the glue is treated with anti-mildew agents — to help keep mold and mildew from growing between the wallpaper and wallboard.

I’m not certain that the glue would NOT add unwanted smells or chemicals that could stain the clothing or cause skin irritation.

Almost no wallpaper sold for consumers is UNpasted — because it’s such a giant pain to mix and apply the glue.
