What color to paint bathroom walls w/ country french white and blue tile?

What color paint do you recommend for the walls in a small, windowless bathroom? Right now the walls are painted two shades of dark blue in a striped faux finish. The floor is white tiled with a navy blue border along the outside. The vanity and commode are white with country french navy blue toile design handles. Any color blue just looks too dark. Is yellow my only option?

Yellow is a good choice, another popular color that might go well is a light celedon green. Or go with the ever popular white and make your accessories very colorful. This is a very versatile option as you could change your color scheme often just by changing the color of your towels, rugs, curtains, decorations, soaps, whatever.
