my new apartment has no pantry?

I am moving into a new apartment in 2 weeks. And there is no pantry in the kitchen. There is small space in the kitchen. maybe i could buy a cabinet or something? All pantry carts i look at seem too expensive for only having like two small shelves…not enough space to store food and such. Anyone have any suggestions or know where i can get a cheap free-standing cabinet?

I’ve seen very tall, very narrow shelving units with doors that I think would help your storage problem. I live in a very small town and the only large store is a Fred Myer and they have them. I believe the ads generally show them photographed in bathrooms but there’s no reason you can’t use one in the kitchen. Pantries need to not be very deep; a shelf with the depth to hold 4-6 cans is sufficient; I have pantries custom built at 1 foot deep as deep shelves mean you can’t see what’s in the back. Hope you find the shelving unit I’m talking about – try Target, Walmart, Home Depot.
