Do I have to let him take the beds?
About a month ago, my husband brought home a set of bunkbeds for our twin 4-year-old daughters and a double bed for our seven year old son. I asked him at the time where they came from and he said a friend of his from work was redoing his basement and wanted rid of them. We set them up and got rid of the kids’ old beds (a day bed and 2 toddler beds). The kids have been sleeping on these beds ever since.
Monday my husband admitted he’d been having an affair and that he was leaving. He’s only been gone six days. Today, we’ve been into it for numerous reasons and he admits to me that the beds came fro his other woman. She bought them and she wants them back. I said I would gladly let them take the beds because I don’t want anything SHE bought in this house anyway but I need a week to get different ones for the kids to sleep on here. He said no and that he was coming over right now to get them.
Do I have to let him take them now?
No, what the heck would your kids sleep on assuming you have custody?
Have the police there if he comes for the beds.
