How do you fix a squeaking la-z-boy recliner?

My la-z-boy recliner squeaks when rocking. It appears to come from the 4 big springs in the rocking mechanism. I applied some wd40 to the springs, but it didn’t fix the problem. Any suggestions?

Try the spray on Teflon white grease. It comes in a spray can (from Lowes or Home depot)
