Is there any reasons why not to paint a bedroom black?

are there any negative sides to having a all black walls?
or 3 walls black 1 lime green, light purple, or bright blue wall?

DON’T DO IT!!! I recently painted my room a really really dark brown (like a dark Hershey bar) and it was frickin’ depressing! I repainted it a few weeks later. It felt like I was living in a cave or a utility closet or something.
