Why would caffeine have a reverse effect on me?

About a half hour after consuming a triple shot espresso I’m feeling exhausted…like I could lay down in bed and fall asleep. Usually whenever I drink caffeine I never have such a hard crash, could there be an explanation for this?

.There are 2 reasons why this will happen.

Caffeine takes more water to process than the coffee provides so it takes extra water from our bodies. This dehydrates us and when we are dehydrated we feel tired. Also caffeine depletes the body of B vitamins which are needed for energy. This is why energy drinks put in B vitamins. Not only to offset what is lost from the caffeine but to help give energy too.
