Which hip hop albums do you think are the most conceptually creative?
Not necessarily the most musically creative, or the highest quality concept albums, but the best ideas behind an album.
For example (I’m sure I won’t steal anyone’s answer with this):
Soloplexus – Illusive Avenues of 6 Intrinsic Musicians
Soloplexus is a group of six fictional rappers with different styles, but all of them were actually Insight. He even featured himself as a guest on a few songs on the album, so he actually played the role of 7 different emcees on the album.
Dr. Octagonecologyst by Kool Keith (Dr. Octagon)
